I bought a new computer for this

I know. So typical. Let’s explore this theory a little. For the record, I am typing on my old computer because the new one is still in transit.

Life can be so mundane. So repetitive. I will share more details in another post. Over the last 15 months (since starting my new job in Dallas), the days are Very rinse and repeat. I almost can’t stand it. It creates this mental block for me where I start questioning everything!

I am sure you have heard the verbiage “romantize your life”. This has been exemplified big time over the last few months with “Ralph Lauren Christmas”. The is the whole premiss. Turn everyday, mundane, moments into beautiful activities.

So let’s begin. I really did need a new laptop. The battery life on this one is going downhill fast. We have a ton of travel coming up. I needed something light and small with a great battery to keep in tow.

Ways I am romanticizing my hectic, busy, working mom, mundane daily life.

  1. Coffee of course. But make it chefs kiss. A cup and saucer, yes please.
  2. A cute bag to pack a healthy lunch + functional “Tupperware” to keep it fresh.
  3. Clothes. Need I say more. I started following working women, working moms on social. What you wear daily, matters. I work in a semi casual setting (again post coming with all the info), but I still make a point to love what I am wearing that day.
  4. I love my car! It’s older and used. It does not have apple car play. I recently bought a very useful phone holder that works so well with my phone case. My car, it’s cute. It works so well for what I do and where I work.
  5. Work bag. Currently using my LV Neverfull but I am definitely on the search for a new one. One that can double as a travel bag. I have several in mind. I know women who travel with their neverfulls but I need a zip top and something black.
  6. I’ll wrap this up for number six. Organized, clean home. Meals planned out. Daily movement to fill good in the clothes mentioned above. All of it. It all matters. It all takes the mundane and makes it fun. Trust me.
